Deborah Adamo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in teens and adults. Deborah is a great match for individuals struggling with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions and identity issues. She takes a holistic approach, incorporating mindfulness practices, CBT skills and experiential exercises, all with the goal to always be looking inward for strength and growth.
Deborah Adamo received her Masters Degree from New York University. Throughout her career she has worn many hats in various settings, such as Supervisor in a community mental health setting, Coordinator for school based programs, Group Facilitator for the Jersey City Board of Education, and Business Owner in her own private practice in Hoboken. She has collaborated with Child Study Teams, provided crisis intervention, and conducted individual, couples and family counseling. Deborah is currently part of the clinical team at RWJ Barnabas Behavioral Health Services in Morristown.
