FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network practice, which means we do not serve on any insurance panels. However we do provide superbills that you can submit for potential reimbursement.

If you're planning to work with an out-of-network (OON) provider, it's a good idea to call your insurance company first to understand your mental health benefits. Click below for a free download of our OON Insurance Questions Checklist. Use it as a script and notesheet when speaking with a representative.
Or follow along with the below questions as you are on call with an insurance representative. Jot down notes, including the name of the representative and the date and time of the call. And remember—it’s okay to ask for explanations. It’s your finances and you want to be fully informed.

What does it mean that you are a neurodivergent-affirming practice?
A neurodivergent-affirming approach values brains of all kinds—without framing difference as deficit. This means we reject pathologizing language and instead recognize both the strengths and the challenges.
What is the No Surprises Act?
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
How do I know if virtual sessions are right for me?
Telehealth has been proven to be as effective as in-person therapy for most people, and working virtually removes many barriers: eliminates your commute to our office and allows you to work with a therapist outside your immediate geographical area.
